Job Description

We are looking to recruit an Account Manager who can professionally, efficiently and effectively develop both the business and the relationships with the customers. This role is based at our Head Office in Leeds and offers hybrid working.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

The main purpose of the Account Manager role is to professionally, efficiently and effectively develop both the business and the relationship with the customer through:

  • Achievement of the company key performance measures
  • Support and development of both brand & own label business
  • Development and management of relationships with key internal & external stakeholders across the many functions in both businesses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivery of budget and financial objectives within areas of responsibility
  • Ownership of forecast within areas of responsibility – internally & externally
  • Management of the promotional plan and associated spend with the customers, both in planning & in evaluation for future changes
  • Ownership of Joint Business Plans & Overriders, and development for future years
  • Development & Continuation of excellent trading relationships with the customer
  • Excellent knowledge of market trends & key competitor and category dynamics
  • Delivery of branded initiatives as required by the business – and as developed with the customer.
  • Leadership of own label projects to either win new business or improve existing ranges with the customer.
  • Ensuring that the Company is professionally represented at all times, both inside and outside the business.
  • To protect the health, safety and welfare of yourself and others at all times.
  • To take an active role in continuously developing your skills and knowledge through self-development activities and/or through attending Company organised training and development opportunities.
  • To respond to ad hoc requests and/or take an active role in specific projects as directed by your line manager.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as may from time to time be required by the Company.

  • Delivery of budget
  • Development, Review and Customer support of JBP
  • Completing work to required standards and to deadlines

OTHER INFORMATION

The job-holder may be required to work in other business units as the needs of the business require.
