We are looking for someone to shape the digital strategy for our business, both at a brand level but also at a corporate level. The opportunity is to really make a mark in this role and shape how Symington’s approaches digital and social content. We aspire to be best in class in terms of our approach to digital marketing and want the right individual to lead this agenda.
We believe in the power of BOLD IDEAS for our brands. This person will also live and breathe social currency and wants to deliver big ideas for our famous brands NAKED and MUG SHOT. It is an opportunity to shape how we use social for our brands and bring the ‘outside in’ in terms of best practice. The role will include leading the all year round content calendars for our brands, as well as working with creative and media agencies around big campaign ideas.
Establish and implement best practice for Owned media
Owns strategy for social media with primary focus on Mug Shot and Naked, plus tactical support on the Chicken Tonight brand
This role calls for someone who can shape strategy, but doesn’t mind getting stuck into the detail too. It is a standalone role in the organisation, reporting in to Brand marketing. As a result, the person will need to come with the ability to shape the role of digital and social in the organisation, but also for the medium term be able to create content calendars, manage our social community and implement social spend within our owned channels.
