The Marketing Executive supports the marketing team (across all branded business) to deliver brand growth targets through supporting all areas of the marketing mix. The Marketing Executive will also hold sole responsibility for some secondary brands in the portfolio. The successful candidate requires 1 years’ experience in marketing and must be a self-starter with a proactive approach. With high attention to detail and organisational skills this individual will create seamless working relationships cross functionally and within the team. This role is based at our Head Office in Leeds and offers hybrid working.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Marketing Executive supports the marketing team (across all branded business) to deliver brand growth targets through supporting all areas of the marketing mix. The Marketing Executive will also hold sole responsibility for some secondary brands in the portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the artwork process, working closely with design agencies and internal stakeholders through to print
- Supporting in the briefing and development of new product ranges, with specific responsibility for managing product set up on business systems
- Liaising with marketing agencies and Brandbank on product set up and photography and improving our retailer online presence.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of consumer communication plans – including social media and website updates. Supporting brand and social managers on creative asset delivery.
- Execution of shopper activation aligned with agreed brand strategy and budget
- Full responsibility for some secondary brands in the portfolio
- Provide weekly updates to the line manager and Monthly Updates to senior management and reports as required
- This role has opportunity to get experience across marketing mix, to build experience
KEY CHARACTERISTICS
- Self-starter with a pro-active approach and desire to learn
- Graduate level, or 1+ year existing experience in marketing
- Project management experience
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Can do attitude with a strong work ethic
- Able to operate as part of a team
- Ability to communicate and build strong working relationships across functions
- Good presenting skills
- High levels computer literacy
