The insight executive role will help us understand market performance and to develop actionable insight for our business and brands. The successful candidate requires excellent analytical skills and can manage and interpret large amounts of data and information. You’ll require critical thinking skills and have a particular eye for detail. This role is based at our Head Office in Leeds and offers hybrid working.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Insight Executive will review data and research to help us to market our products or services and drive business growth. You will summarise data on market performance, shopper behaviour, demographics and brand performance for key brands Naked and Mug Shot. The role includes use of the market data and trends to input into future Own Label Plabs
You will have to evaluate market and brand data using a range of statistical techniques and software. You must interpret what the data means and help to headline the main insights using clear charts, graphs and other visual aids to present your findings.
You will help to inform our position in the market by reviewing competitor performance: analysing prices, sales, promotions and marketing methods. Using this insight you can contribute to identifying opportunities, potential markets and issues affecting business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data analysis and regular performance reporting
- Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends across our categories
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing activities
- Gather data about consumers, competitors, and market conditions – and convert in to a “so what”
- Prepare presentations and present results to marketing team, sales teams, category team and management
- Assist in Portfolio planning which will include Brand and Own Label

- Analytical skills. You must be able to understand large amounts of data and information. Ability to convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports
- Communication skills. You will need good communication skills when gathering information, interpreting data, and presenting results to internal clients/ retailer teams.
- Critical-thinking skills. You must be able to assess available information and think through the main insights and implications for the business.
- Detail oriented. You must be detail oriented because you will need to be precise in your data analysis.
