TDY ‘Mug Shot Picnic Hamper Competition’ Winner
Mug Shot sponsored the Queen of the Mountain Jersey for the Women’s Race of this year’s Tour de Yorkshire.
As part of the event sponsorship we ran a competition to guess to amount of pasta spirals in a jar. The prize was a Mug Shot picnic hamper, full of Mug Shot goodies along with a signed jersey from the Queen of the Mountain Women’s Race.
We are delighted to announce the winner of the Mug Shot Picnic Hamper Competition was Mark Stratford from Hull, who guessed 680, the exact amount of pasta spirals in the jar! Well done Mark.
The Tour de Yorkshire has already become one of the most spectacular and well received events in the British sporting calendar and it returned for its second year in 2016 with new routes and new challenges. The route took 18 teams of eight riders to all four corners of Yorkshire, linking together the county’s sporting, historic, industrial and literary greats. The 550km race was completed in 3 stages:
Stage 1: Beverley to Settle (184km)
Stage 2: Otley to Doncaster (135km)
Stage 3: Middlesbrough to Scarborough (196km)
The Women’s Race took place on Saturday 30th April with 98 riders and the pink QOM jersey was won by Rossella Ratto of Cyclance Pro Cycling.Tweet
