Symington’s launches the Naked Noodle

Symington’s has launched a brand new range of Ramen Noodle Soups which is being sold under the Naked Noodle brand. The brand new range was inspired by the huge growth of noodle bars across the UK as well as an increased appetite among consumers for oriental inspired food. The range of three Ramen Noodle style soups is being targeted at busy on-the-go professionals who are seeking adventurous, but primarily convenient lunchtime solutions.

 

The products feature striking and contemporary packaging, drawing on the New York Take Away style carton that is iconic across the globe. Quick and easy to prepare, the range of soups come with a block of noodles and sachet of seasoning, which can be regulated to consumers’ preference. Just add boiling water to the noodles and flavouring, wait a few minutes and then eat straight from the carton with the handy Spork provided.

 

The Naked Noodle range includes three ramen noodle style soups:

  • Thai Chicken
  • Chilli Beef
  • Hot & Sour

David Cherrie, Marketing Controller for Symington’s said: “We’re really excited to launch the Naked Noodle, it’s a first for the category and were confident that it will entice more discerning consumers into the noodle market, helping us achieve strong sales figures across a number of consumer demographics.”   So far, the response to the launch has been overwhelming and it is now available from Asda and Tesco.
